Your brothers and sisters of North Colorado Emmaus Community are about to conduct Walks #22 (men) and #23 (women) in the first two weeks of October. If you to decide to do so, it is easy to make your choices.

Johnny & Pearl Tims

First Baptist, Chickasha, Ok is going to honor our pastor and his wife, Johnny & Pearl Tims on August 26th during the morning service and after the evening service. He celebrated his 50th Anniversary in Ministry in July and they will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Sep 1. We will be presenting them with a scrapbook containing cards and letters from their church family and Emmaus Communities. Both of them went on Walks in the Golden Spread Emmaus Community and have been involved in the Great Plains Community since 1997.

If you would like to contribute to the scrapbook, please send cards or letters by August 20 to:

Prayer Request

Gerald & Margie Cathey's 18 year old son, Todd, died suddenly yesterday. Please let the Golden Spread Emmaus Community know. Both Gerald & Margie have worked Walks for Golden Spread Emmaus. The extension of love & prayers for the Cathey family will give them strength to remember God is always in charge.
